Brussel-Cantersteen Stanhope Hotel With the Kleine Zeitung for over 40 years and still not enough. Started as a permanent freelancer in the “crime department” of the local editorial office, then founding editor of regionalization, setting up the Hartberg regional office as a model for all subsequent external editorial offices in Styria and Carinthia. Branch manager in Hartberg and later in Weiz, deputy head of department and then regional manager for Styria for a decade. Then things really took off: Head of Austria, deputy head of the news department and then desk manager/chief of service for print and online. From there, the leap into the distance: EU correspondent in Brussels since 2018.
